Lewin Soft Blue is a quietly textured weave with a pale, cool blue ground and a softly heathered surface. The small, even construction gives it a calm, tailored look rather than a crisp solid.

About this fabric

This Boscombe fabric has a neat woven texture that reads as a fine basket-like grain in the swatch, with muted blue threads blended through beige-grey and pale taupe yarns. The overall effect is soft and airy, with the blue sitting gently on the surface rather than appearing vivid or saturated. It is supplied at approximately 140cm wide with a vertical and horizontal repeat of 0cm, so the design has a clean, non-directional feel. The composition combines 37% Polyester, 28% Polyacrylic, 19% Viscose, 10% Polyacrylic (FR) and 6% Linen, giving it a refined textile character with a subtle natural slub visible in the cloth. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code K are supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this soft blue colourway on an accent chair, bench, or relaxed curtains where its cool, misty tone can lighten the room. It pairs especially well with chalk white, weathered oak, and pale stone finishes.

A quiet blue-linen look that works neatly across upholstery and drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
