Sandford Blue

Sandford FabricF4893-04

Sandford Blue shows a neat small-scale geometric weave in a soft powder blue and pale neutral ground. The effect is crisp but understated, with the pattern reading as a fine lattice across the surface.

About this fabric

This Sandford colourway has a cool, muted blue line work set against a light cream-beige base, giving the design a calm, tailored look rather than a bright one. The small repeating motif is visible at a vertical and horizontal repeat of approximately 4cm, which keeps the pattern orderly and easy to read across larger areas. Woven in 37% cotton, 33% viscose, 16% linen and 14% polyester, it has the soft, natural character of a mixed-fibre fabric with a gently refined finish. At approximately 144cm wide, it is a practical width for curtains, cushions or light upholstery where a neat geometric is wanted. The Q 8 + T 3 care code and √CH fire code make it a considered decorative fabric for domestic interiors.

How to use it

Use Sandford Blue where you want a fresh but restrained pattern, such as slim dining chairs, tailored blinds or scatter cushions. Its powdery blue tone sits well with chalk white, pale oak and soft grey interiors.

A cool, quiet blue that brings a tailored finish to upholstery or curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Sandford Blue without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
