Sandford FabricF4893-01

Sandford Red shows a neat diamond lattice in warm brick and terracotta reds over a pale ground. The small-scale pattern feels tidy and tailored, with the weave giving the surface a crisp, upholstered look.

About this fabric

This Sandford colourway is woven in 37% Cotton, 33% Viscose, 16% Linen and 14% Polyester, giving it a balanced handle and a subtly textured finish. The repeat is approximately V 4cm / H 4cm, which keeps the interlocking lattice fine and regular across the cloth. At approximately 144cm wide, it is well suited to larger upholstery runs or elegant drapery where a compact pattern can be appreciated. The red reads as softened and earthy rather than bright, with pale background threads lightening the overall effect and helping the design feel refined.

How to use it

Use Sandford Red on a tucked sofa, occasional chair or cushions where the small geometric repeat can bring structure to a room. Its warm, muted red works especially well with oak, aged brass and creamy neutrals.

A compact lattice in warm brick tones that suits classic interiors without feeling heavy.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
