Frances Stripe Tomato

Silvano Stripes FabricF4971-07

Frances Stripe Tomato is a neat vertical stripe with a warm tomato-red accent set against a pale neutral ground. The stripe feels crisp and tailored, with the linen blend giving the surface a slightly natural, woven look.

About this fabric

Woven in a 52% linen, 42% viscose and 6% polyamide blend, this fabric has a refined handle and a gentle slubbed character that softens the stripe without losing its order. The 148cm approx width and 5cm horizontal repeat make it practical for furnishing schemes that want a controlled, classic stripe. In this colourway the red reads as a softened tomato tone rather than a bright scarlet, balanced by creamy off-white bands and a fine grey-brown line that keeps the pattern grounded. It is a versatile fabric for schemes that need a smart, traditional stripe with enough texture to feel relaxed rather than stiff.

How to use it

Use Frances Stripe Tomato on sofas, dining chairs or cushions where the soft red stripe can add warmth without overpowering the room. It also works well with chalky whites, oak and deeper wood finishes for a clean, tailored look.

Pair with warm neutrals and dark timber for a fresh, tailored look.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
