About this fabric

From the Silvano Stripes collection by Colefax and Fowler, this fabric is woven in 52% linen, 42% viscose and 6% polyamide, giving the surface a dry-luxe look with a little polish from the viscose. The stripe is set vertically, with an approximate horizontal repeat of 5cm, so the design feels orderly and finely balanced across the width. At around 148cm wide, it is a practical cloth for lined curtains, blinds and decorative upholstery applications where a neat stripe is wanted. The stone colourway is especially understated: creamy off-white ground, soft taupe pinstripes and cool grey detailing that keep the overall effect calm rather than contrasty.

How to use it

Use it where you want a tailored neutral that still has movement, such as relaxed roman blinds, slim cushions or an armchair in a pale scheme. Its muted stone tones sit naturally with oak, limestone and chalky paint colours.
