About this fabric

Frances Stripe Fuchsia from the Silvano Stripes collection by Colefax and Fowler is woven in a 52% Linen, 42% Viscose, 6% Polyamide composition, with a width of approximately 148cm and a repeat of V 0cm / H 5cm approx. In this colourway the stripe is a lively fuchsia pink, softened by narrow paler accents and set against an ivory ground, so the overall effect feels fresh and bright rather than heavy. The weave has a slightly slubbed, natural linen character that keeps the stripe looking relaxed even though the layout is neatly ordered. With its smart scale and balanced handle, it works well where a fabric needs to feel tailored without looking severe.

How to use it

Use this pink-and-ivory stripe on a window seat, dining chair or tailored Roman blind to bring a crisp lift to neutral interiors. It also pairs well with pale woods, chalky whites and brushed brass for a fresh classic scheme.

A crisp stripe that brings a fresh, tailored note to both classic upholstery and curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Frances Stripe Fuchsia without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
