Frances Stripe Forest Green

Silvano Stripes FabricF4971-05

Frances Stripe Forest Green pairs slender vertical stripes with a pale ground for a crisp, tailored look. The green reads as a softened forest tone, lifted by the lighter bands and the fabric’s subtle woven texture.

About this fabric

This Colefax and Fowler fabric has a 148cm approximate width and a 5cm horizontal repeat, with vertical stripes running cleanly through the design. The composition of 52% Linen, 42% Viscose and 6% Polyamide gives the surface a refined, lightly textured handle rather than a flat printed finish. In this colourway, the forest green stripe is muted and cool, set against a soft ivory ground that keeps the overall effect airy. The stripe rhythm feels neat and measured, making the pattern easy to use without overpowering a room.

How to use it

Use this shade where you want a fresh traditional stripe with a calmer, greener note than navy or black. It works especially well on tailored curtains, café drapes or upholstered dining chairs with pale wood and painted finishes.

A fresh, tailored stripe that feels crisp on curtains and polished on upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Frances Stripe Forest Green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
