About this fabric

Woven in a blend of 53% viscose, 25% linen and 22% cotton, Ruskin Green has the tactility and body of a true decorator fabric without feeling heavy. The surface reads as a muted olive-moss green, with the raised damask motif appearing just a shade deeper than the ground so the pattern shows gently rather than starkly. Its approximate 142cm width and 64cm vertical repeat / 36cm horizontal repeat make it well suited to larger drops and coordinated upholstery projects. The cloth has a soft, matte character with enough texture to suit both seating and drapery, while the √CM fire code and Q 8 : T 3 care code should be checked against your project requirements.

How to use it

Use this green in rooms with warm woods, aged brass and linen neutrals, where its subdued tone can anchor the scheme. It would look especially good on an accent chair, blind or full-height curtains with a relaxed country-house feel.

A refined mossy damask that works well on tailored upholstery or elegant curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Ruskin Green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
