Ruskin Olive
Ruskin II FabricF3923-15
Ruskin Olive shows a softly aged olive ground with a subtle damask motif worked in low contrast across the surface. The effect is calm and tailored, with the pattern reading more as texture than as a bold statement.

About this fabric
From the Ruskin II collection by Colefax and Fowler, Ruskin Olive is a fabric with a 142cm approximate width and a composition of 53% viscose, 25% linen and 22% cotton. The weave has a natural, slightly slubby character that suits the fabric’s restrained sheen and gives the olive tone a gentle depth. The damask pattern appears in a darker, shadowed green-brown, so the design feels layered rather than bright, with the repeat sitting quietly across the cloth. With no performance features noted and a care code of Q 8 : T 3, it reads as a decorative textile with a refined, traditional finish.
How to use it
This muted moss olive works beautifully on statement chairs, cushions or blinds where the damask can be appreciated up close. Pair it with aged brass, dark timber and warm neutrals to bring out its understated richness.
A refined olive damask that brings depth without feeling too heavy.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Ruskin Olive without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
