Tsuga Cypress

Taxus FabricL9174-07

Tsuga Cypress is a quietly textured olive fabric with a dry, heathered surface and a soft natural depth. In this colourway, the green reads as muted moss with warm brown undertones rather than a bright botanical note.

About this fabric

Tsuga Cypress from Larsen’s Taxus collection is a 143cm approx. wide fabric with no repeat, making the finely speckled surface feel calm and continuous across a larger piece. The composition combines 40% Polyamide, 25% Cotton, 15% Linen, 12% Polyester and 8% Viscose, which helps explain the fabric’s lightly crisp hand and the subtle textile grain visible in the swatch. This olive tone sits between sage and khaki, with an earthy cast that softens in the light and keeps the colour looking restrained rather than vivid. The result is a versatile fabric that feels tailored and textural, with enough substance for upholstery while remaining suitable for drapery projects too. Care code Q 8 < T 3 and fire code K are supplied for this exact quality.

How to use it

Use Tsuga Cypress with tan leather, oak, and brushed brass for a warm, composed scheme. It also works well as a quieter curtain colour against pale plaster walls or deeper woodland paint tones.

A grounded olive tone that suits tailored upholstery and understated curtains alike.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
