About this fabric
This Fallow colourway reads as a warm, subdued olive with brown undertones, giving the velvet a natural, grounded look rather than a bright green cast. The pile appears smooth and dense, with the slight directional sheen you expect from velvet adding depth across the surface. Made from 60% polyester, 28% recycled polyester, 8% acrylic and 4% viscose, it is specified for curtains, loose cover upholstery and fixed upholstery. With a 100,000 Martindale rub test and upholstery grading for both contract and general domestic use, it is a practical choice for high-traffic seating as well as statement drapes. The 137cm width and plain repeat make it easy to work into tailored interiors, while the BS5852 Part 1 fire rating adds reassurance for project use.
How to use it
Pair this earthy olive tone with tan leather, aged brass and natural oak for a calm, layered scheme. It also works well with chalky neutrals and deeper forest greens if you want a richer, tonal room.
