About this fabric

This Linwood velvet has a clean, unpatterned finish that lets the freesia pink colour take centre stage, shifting gently between pale blush and warmer peachy notes as the light moves across it. Made from 60% Polyester, 28% Recycled Polyester, 8% Acrylic and 4% Viscose, it is designed for both contract and general domestic upholstery, as well as curtains and loose covers. The 137cm width and plain repeat make it straightforward to use on larger furniture pieces or window dressings, while the 100,000 Martindale rub test underlines its hard-wearing performance. It is also rated to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1, and the stain-resistant finish gives this soft-looking velvet practical everyday confidence. The overall effect is plush, polished and quietly feminine rather than sugary or bright.

How to use it

Use this freesia shade to soften darker woods, brass details or charcoal upholstery, where its warm pink velvet brings a gentle glow. It works especially well on an armchair, headboard or full-length curtains when you want colour that feels elegant but not overpowering.
