About this fabric

This colourway reads as a warm gingerbread shade: more toasted gold than bright orange, with a muted caramel softness across the pile. The plain velvet surface gives it a calm, even appearance, while the nap subtly shifts the light for a deeper, more tactile finish. Made from 60% Polyester, 28% Recycled Polyester, 8% Acrylic and 4% Viscose, it is suitable for Curtains, Loose Cover Upholstery and Fixed Upholstery. With a 100,000 Martindale rub test, contract and general domestic upholstery grades, and FR compliance to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1, it is a practical choice for hard-working interiors. The fabric is 137cm wide and has a plain vertical repeat, making it straightforward to use on larger pieces.

How to use it

Use this gingerbread velvet on an armchair or sofa where you want warmth without going too dark. It pairs well with walnut, cream and aged brass, and its mellow tone also works beautifully in curtain panels for a cocooning scheme.
