About this fabric

This colourway reads as a dense fern green with darker, velvety shadows across the surface, so it feels calm and substantial rather than vivid. The plain velvet face gives it a smooth, light-catching finish that softens the depth of the colour. Made from 60% Polyester, 28% Recycled Polyester, 8% Acrylic and 4% Viscose, it is specified for curtains, loose cover upholstery and fixed upholstery. With a Martindale rub test of 100,000 and upholstery grading for Contract and General Domestic use, it is a practical choice for hard-working seating as well as refined drapery. The fabric is 137cm wide and has a BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1 cigarette and match rating.

How to use it

Use Fern on sofas, occasional chairs or padded banquettes for a composed, tailored look, or make curtains in this shade feel especially cocooning in rooms with warm timber and brass. Its dark green tone pairs well with cream, tobacco and aged metal finishes.
