Lola Stripe Topiary

Lola Fabric

Lola Stripe Topiary is a softly fresh stripe with a pale cream ground and slender topiary-green bands. The fine woven linen gives the design a relaxed, airy feel, while the narrow turquoise edging adds a crisp decorative finish.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen and supplied at 137cm wide, this fabric is cut for fixed upholstery and carries a 30,000 Martindale rub test for general domestic use. The stripe reads as a gentle, spring-like green rather than a bold herb tone, with a light, slightly washed look that sits comfortably against the warm ivory background. The slim decorative outline in cool aqua gives the stripe extra definition without making it feel heavy. It is also FR rated to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1, and can be machine washed at 30C with allowance for 3% shrinkage, though dry clean is the after care recommendation.

How to use it

Use it on an occasional chair, bench cushion or neatly tailored headboard where the soft green stripe can bring colour without overpowering the room. It works especially well with bleached oak, pale stone and other muted natural finishes.

Pair with chalky neutrals and natural woods for a fresh, tailored look.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Lola Stripe Topiary without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
