Lola Stripe Spellbound

Lola Fabric

Lola Stripe Spellbound pairs deep olive vertical stripes with a pale warm ground for a crisp, tailored look. The linen weave gives the stripes a softly textured, natural finish that feels clean rather than glossy.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen and supplied at 137cm wide, this fabric is made for fixed upholstery and carries a 30,000 Martindale rub test, making it a practical general domestic choice. The colourway combines broad dark olive stripes with a light creamy ground, edged by a fine golden outline that lifts the pattern and keeps it from feeling too heavy. Its matte linen surface softens the contrast, so the stripes read as smart and structured rather than harsh. It is dry clean only, machine washable at 30C with around 3% shrinkage allowed, and conforms to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1.

How to use it

Use it on a bench, armchair or occasional headboard where the vertical stripe can add height and rhythm. The warm olive and cream palette works especially well with oak, aged brass and other natural materials.

A refined olive stripe that brings quiet contrast and tailored character to upholstered pieces.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Lola Stripe Spellbound without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
