About this fabric

Woven in a semi-plain structure, this colourway shows a lively lime ground softened by pale, heathered flecks that break up the colour and give it a slightly natural, slubbed look. The composition of 38% viscose, 38% cotton, 18% linen and 6% polyester helps explain the fabric’s tactile, lightly irregular weave, while the 30,000 martindale rub test supports its use for fixed upholstery in both contract and general domestic settings. At 137cm wide and with an A FR rating conforming to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1, it is a practical choice as well as a distinctive one. Dry clean care keeps the appearance crisp, and the overall effect is a clean, cool lime that feels brighter than sage but softer than acid green.

How to use it

Use Loxley Lime to lift a compact chair, ottoman or banquette with a clean, contemporary edge. It works especially well alongside oak, chalky neutrals and crisp white trim, where the fresh green can remain the focal point.

Pairs well with pale woods and crisp neutrals for a bright, contemporary scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
