Loxley Ochre

Loxley Fabric

Loxley Ochre is a warm, woven colourway with a golden ochre character and a lightly textured, small-scale surface. The mix of pale and deeper yarns gives it a lively, slightly sunlit finish rather than a flat mustard tone.

About this fabric

This Loxley fabric from Linwood has a softly slubbed, small woven structure that reads as a semi-plain from a distance, with tiny flecks of cream lifting the ochre ground. The composition is 38% Viscose, 38% Cotton, 18% Linen and 6% Polyester, which helps explain the natural, gently irregular texture visible in the cloth. With a 30,000 Martindale rub test and upholstery grade for Contract and General Domestic use, it is well suited to fixed upholstery. It is 137cm wide, has FR rating A to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1, and should be dry cleaned. The overall effect is a warm, mid-golden tone that feels tailored and inviting rather than overly bright.

How to use it

Use this ochre colourway on a sofa, banquette or accent chair where its woven warmth can add depth without overpowering the room. It pairs especially well with oak, tan leather, chalk white and muted olive accents.

A warm ochre weave that brings a rich, tailored lift to seating and cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
