Raoul Ochre

Hudson FabricJ0276-01

Raoul Ochre is a softly glowing ochre check with a fine, tightly woven surface and a gentle matt finish. The small repeat gives the colour a calm, textural rhythm rather than a bold graphic look.

About this fabric

This colourway reads as a warm golden ochre with subtle beige and honey undertones, lifted by the tiny checked weave visible across the surface. It is a fabric with a composed, slightly rustic-luxe character rather than a flat plain, and the 1cm by 1cm approximate repeat keeps the pattern delicate and close in scale. The 138cm approximate width makes it practical for larger runs, while the 70% cotton, 19% acrylic, 7% linen and 4% polyester blend suggests a balanced, usable cloth with natural character. Q 8 + T 3 care and the √BH fire code are part of the supplied specification for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Raoul Ochre to bring warmth to upholstered chairs, bench seating or tailored cushions, especially against oak, walnut or painted whites. Its soft gold tone works well in rooms that need a sunny accent without moving into a bright, high-contrast yellow.

A warm ochre check that adds quiet colour and texture without overpowering a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
