About this fabric

Woven in 70% cotton, 19% acrylic, 7% linen and 4% polyester, Raoul Straw has the natural look of a textile with just enough structure for everyday use. The cloth reads as a muted beige with a faint golden warmth, and the tiny herringbone-like grain catches the light without becoming busy. At approximately 138cm wide, it is a practical upholstery or drapery fabric for schemes that need a quiet neutral with some texture. The repeat is very small at approximately V 1cm / H 1cm, so the surface feels continuous and easy to place across larger pieces.

How to use it

Use this straw tone to soften timber, rattan and pale painted finishes, or pair it with chalky whites for a relaxed layered look. Its warm beige reading makes it especially effective where you want a neutral that feels gentle rather than grey.

A warm, easy neutral that works beautifully across upholstery and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
