About this fabric

This Jane Churchill fabric is composed of 51% Cotton and 49% Polyester, with an approximate width of 138cm and a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm, so the plain design reads cleanly across larger runs. In the swatch, the beige tone sits in a warm, slightly creamy register, with enough depth in the weave to add softness without looking marked or patterned. The surface has a fine crosswoven texture that catches the light subtly, giving it a dry, natural appearance with a touch of polish from the polyester content. With no performance features noted, it suits interiors where the emphasis is on an easy, relaxed neutral rather than a technical finish.

How to use it

Use Huxley Beige on tailored upholstery, blind linings or full-length curtains where you want a light, warm backdrop. It pairs especially well with pale oak, chalk white and muted olive accents.

A softly textured neutral that layers easily with timber, linen and muted colour accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
