Hudson Green/Orange

Hudson FabricJ0280-04

Hudson Green/Orange is a finely textured weave in warm beige, lifted by tiny orange specks that give the surface a subtle, lively grain. The overall effect is quiet and natural, with just enough colour to keep the cloth from reading flat.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a small-scale, closely woven surface with a calm beige ground and soft orange accents that appear through the weave rather than sitting on top of it. The 65% cotton, 23% polyester and 12% linen composition gives it a dry, lightly rustic handle that suits a tailored interior scheme. With an approximate width of 142cm and a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx, it presents as a non-patterned texture that is easy to tailor and match. The muted warmth of the green/orange naming reads here as a gentle earthy tint, but the image itself stays predominantly sand, oat and peach-beige.

How to use it

Use it on an upholstered armchair, banquette or compact sofa where the small woven texture can catch the light without dominating the room. It pairs neatly with smoked wood, aged brass and other soft neutrals, while the orange fleck adds a little warmth beside olive or terracotta accents.

A softly structured neutral that reads warmer and more characterful than a plain beige.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
