Dex Tomato

Hudson FabricJ0282-04

Dex Tomato brings a crisp, small-scale check to the Hudson collection in a warm tomato-coral palette. The neat woven pattern feels fresh and lightly textural, with the pale ground keeping the colourway bright rather than heavy.

About this fabric

Woven in 65% Cotton, 22% Polyester and 13% Linen, Dex Tomato has the dry, slightly slubby character you can see in the weave, balanced by a tidy repeated cross motif. The colourway mixes soft tomato, coral and blush notes over an ivory ground, so the pattern reads warm and airy rather than dense. With an approximate width of 140cm and a repeat of V 9cm / H 7cm, it is a practical scale for coordinated furnishing schemes. The overall effect is smart and versatile, with enough colour to animate upholstery or curtains while still feeling easy to live with.

How to use it

Use Dex Tomato to add a warm accent on an armchair, bench or Roman blind where the small check can be seen up close. It pairs especially well with chalky neutrals, pale oak and warm white walls.

A lively warm coral check that lifts pale schemes without feeling overpowering.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
