Hopper Orange

Hopper Orange is a warm, sun-baked plain with a softly mottled surface and the easy texture of a cotton-linen blend. Its orange tone reads earthy rather than bright, with a relaxed, tactile finish.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a mellow terracotta orange with subtle depth from the woven structure, so it feels grounded and inviting rather than sharp. The fabric is a plain design with no repeat (V 0cm / H 0cm approx) and a useful width of 140cm approx, which makes it straightforward to pattern-match and plan. Its composition of 46% Cotton, 41% Polyester and 13% Linen gives the cloth a natural, lightly slubbed look that is visible in the surface texture. Care code Q 8 + W 3 and fire code K are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Hopper Orange to bring warmth to slim armchairs, cushions or Roman blinds, where its earthy orange tone can glow against oak, plaster or deep green paint. It also works well as a relaxed neutral in rooms that need colour without the intensity of a true bright orange.

A warm terracotta with an easy, linen-rich texture that suits clean-lined upholstery or simple curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
