Casia orange

Country Folk Fabriccasia/fa1/ter

Casia Orange pairs a painterly folk motif with a softly textured cotton-linen ground. Its warm terracotta and blush palette feels sun-warmed and earthy rather than bright or sharp.

About this fabric

Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this 140cm-wide fabric has the light, natural handle you expect from a cotton-rich blend, with enough substance to work for either soft furnishings or occasional upholstery. The design combines circular floral medallions, leaf shapes and scattered star-like marks, all rendered in muted orange, coral, blush and brown on a pale cream background. In this colourway, the oranges are mellow and clay-like, so the pattern reads warm and rustic instead of vivid or glossy. It should be dry cleaned only, and the fabric is not fire retardant.

How to use it

Use Casia Orange to add warmth to neutral interiors, especially rooms with oak, painted wood or natural plaster tones. It works well with ivory, taupe and softened sage, where the terracotta accents can feel collected and understated.

A lively warm-toned statement fabric that brings easy character to cushions, curtains or occasional upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
