About this fabric

Printed on a 95% cotton, 5% linen cloth, this fabric has a natural-looking body and a gently slubby surface that suits both soft furnishings and lighter upholstery projects. The repeat is 17.5cm horizontally and 22.79cm vertically, helping the scattered floral stems flow across larger pieces without feeling overly formal. In this blue colourway, the petals read as a mix of denim, cornflower and teal-blue tones, which keeps the pattern vivid but not harsh against the pale background. It is 140cm wide, iron safe, and should be dry cleaned only; do not use bleach or fabric softener, and do not tumble dry.

How to use it

Use Elai Blue on a relaxed armchair, bench cushion or full-length curtains where the cool blue flowers can brighten a room without overpowering it. It works especially well with washed timber, cream paint and muted green accents for a gentle country look.

Pair with pale oak, chalk white and natural linens to let the painterly blue blooms stay fresh and airy.
