Chiaso orange

Chiaso Fabricchiaso/fa1/bri

Chiaso Orange is a richly textured fabric with a deep burnt-orange ground and a subtle, painterly surface movement. Its warm rusted tone catches the light softly, giving the cloth an inviting depth rather than a flat bright finish.

About this fabric

Woven in 77% viscose, 14% cotton and 9% polyester, this Voyage Maison fabric has a soft handle and a gentle sheen that shows up in the swatch as tiny points of light across the surface. The colour reads as a layered orange-rust, with darker ember-like striations that give it more complexity than a plain terracotta. With a usable width of 142cm and suitability for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings, it is well suited to decorative interior schemes. Dry clean only and dry iron care keep the finish looking crisp.

How to use it

Use this orange tone to warm timber furniture, leather accents or neutral upholstery, where its earthy depth will feel tailored rather than loud. It works especially well in schemes that want a smart autumnal richness with a touch of glow.

A rich rust tone that brings warmth and depth to simple contemporary schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
