Chiaso Fabricchiaso/fa1/lim

Chiaso Grey is a quietly muted colourway with a soft, mossy cast and a gentle low-sheen finish. The surface reads smooth and subtly textured, giving the shade depth without looking busy.

About this fabric

Woven in 77% viscose, 14% cotton and 9% polyester, this Chiaso fabric has a fluid handle that suits curtains, blinds and soft furnishings. The grey tone sits between cool stone and softened sage, with a restrained heathered quality that catches the light in a faintly mottled way. With a usable width of 142cm and no pattern repeat, it is easy to plan for simple window treatments and tailored accessories. It is dry clean only and can be dry ironed, with no fire-retardant treatment noted.

How to use it

Use this subdued grey as a calming foundation with pale timber, chalk white and brushed metal finishes. Its muted green-grey undertone also layers well with olive, charcoal and natural linen textures.

A muted grey that feels calm and versatile with a softly brushed finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
