Zinnia Tranquility/Sky

Colour 2 Fabrics FabricHAF0464-03

Zinnia Tranquility/Sky pairs a soft pale grey ground with chalk-white circular forms and small sky-blue details. The cool colourway has a clean, airy presence, while the repeated geometric layout gives the surface clear rhythm.

About this fabric

The design features irregular white rings arranged in a regular geometric repeat, each enclosing a muted sky-blue oval centre. Smaller blue connector shapes sit between the larger motifs, adding gentle points of colour across the pale grey background. At 390gsm, with 171 threads per cm, this is a substantial textile suited to upholstery applications. It has a usable width of 142.9cm and a pattern repeat of 40.9cm vertically by 47.4cm horizontally, allowing the motif to be planned carefully across a piece.

How to use it

Use the cool grey ground to soften the geometry on a reading chair, bench or headboard, then pick up the sky-blue centres with painted cabinetry, cushions or a muted blue wall colour. White piping or pale timber will emphasise the colourway’s fresh, light character.

Use this cool, pale grey and sky-blue geometric on occasional chairs, headboards or tailored upholstery against crisp white and light timber.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Zinnia Tranquility/Sky without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
