Hopper Grey

Hopper FabricJ0239-11

Hopper Grey is a softly muted greige with a calm, natural-looking surface and a gently mottled linen-cotton character. Its plain weave reads understated and versatile, with just enough texture to keep the shade from feeling flat.

About this fabric

This Hopper colourway has a warm grey base that leans greige rather than cool slate, with the linen content giving the surface a dry, lightly slubbed appearance. The fabric is 46% cotton, 41% polyester and 13% linen, with an approximate width of 140cm, so it offers a practical balance of handle and structure for interior use. With a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx, it is a straightforward plain with no pattern direction to interrupt the soft tonal effect. The overall finish is quiet and relaxed, making the grey feel easy to live with rather than sharp or architectural.

How to use it

Use Hopper Grey on tailored upholstery, cushions or relaxed curtains where you want a neutral with a little warmth. It pairs especially well with oak, chalk white and deeper charcoal accents.

A soft warm greige that works beautifully on relaxed upholstery and understated curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
