Hopper Denim

Hopper FabricJ0239-16

Hopper Denim reads as a soft, weathered blue with a gentle linen slub visible across the surface. The colour sits between blue and teal, giving the fabric a calm, lived-in feel rather than a sharp denim look.

About this fabric

This colourway in the Hopper collection has a fine, even weave with subtle vertical striations that keep the surface looking natural and tactile. The muted denim blue tone is cool and slightly greyed, so it feels quieter and more refined than a bright blue. With a 140cm approximate width and no repeat, it is straightforward to use for upholstery or curtains where a clean, uncomplicated finish is wanted. The 46% cotton, 41% polyester and 13% linen blend adds that balance of softness, structure and texture visible in the cloth. Care code Q 8 + W 3 and fire code K are supplied for specification reference.

How to use it

Use it on an occasional chair, bench seat or relaxed curtains where the soft blue can cool down warmer woods and natural finishes. It pairs especially well with pale oak, chalk white and sand tones for an easy coastal or contemporary scheme.

A versatile washed blue that feels easy and contemporary on both upholstery and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
