Tikal Azur
Jalore FabricM4180-01
Tikal Azur shows the Jalore design in a cool, muted denim blue, broken by slim tribal-style stripes and small flashes of pink, cream and deep red. The overall effect is patterned but calm, with the blue ground keeping the design grounded and easy to live with.

About this fabric
Woven in a 55% linen, 43% cotton and 2% polyester blend, Tikal Azur has the dry, natural look you expect from a linen-rich fabric, with enough body to suit both upholstery and curtains. The repeat is substantial at approximately V 38cm / H 46cm, giving the vertical stripes a clear rhythm across the width of the cloth. Its blue ground reads as softened denim rather than bright sky, while the narrow geometric bands add contrast in pink, ivory, burgundy and slate. With a width of approximately 138cm and fire code √BM, it is a practical decorative fabric with a distinctly relaxed, bohemian character.
How to use it
This colourway works well on an accent chair, bench seat or interlined curtains where the blue can settle into a room without feeling heavy. Pair it with warm timber, chalky white walls and a few terracotta or rust accents to bring out the woven reds in the stripe.
Use for relaxed upholstered pieces or full-length curtains to bring colour and pattern without overwhelming a room.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Tikal Azur without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
