About this fabric

Tikal Carmin from the Jalore collection by Manuel Canovas is a fabric with a strong vertical stripe layout and an approximate repeat of V 38cm / H 46cm. The 55% linen and 43% cotton composition gives the cloth a natural, slightly textured look, while the 2% polyester helps support the weave. In this colourway the background reads as a deep red-carmine tone, lifted by small accents of blue, cream, pink and dark navy in the central geometric bands. At 138cm wide, it works well where a striking striped textile is needed, and the Q 8 + T 3 care code with √BM fire code confirms it as a practical interior fabric.

How to use it

This colourway suits statement upholstery on accent chairs, cushions or banquettes, especially where its red ground can warm timber and leather. It also brings character to curtains or soft furnishings in rooms that need a richer, more saturated focal point.

Use with natural woods or warm neutrals to let the bold ethnic stripe take centre stage.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
