Tino Rubis

Java FabricM4148-04

Tino Rubis brings a dense ruby-red ground to the Java collection, broken by a neat, repeating cream motif that gives the surface a crisp rhythm. The effect is vivid and tailored, with the lighter detail standing out clearly against the deeper red.

About this fabric

This Manuel Canovas fabric is composed of 92% viscose and 8% polyester, and it is shown here as a textile with a compact repeating pattern, approximately 4cm vertically and 7cm horizontally. The colourway reads as a rich ruby red rather than a bright scarlet, with a slightly warm depth that makes the cream motif appear sharper by contrast. The small repeated marks create a textured, almost woven-geometric feel across the surface, even though the overall impression remains smooth and refined. At approximately 140cm wide, it is a versatile cloth for schemes that need a strong colour statement without oversized pattern. The √BM fire code is a useful specification for residential and contract-style planning where compliance matters.

How to use it

Use Tino Rubis on an accent chair, bench, or tailored cushions where the ruby ground can bring instant energy. It also works well at the window with pale walls or timber tones, letting the cream motif lift the darker red.

A vivid ruby ground with a small cream motif feels polished yet lively on compact upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
