Cochin Bourgogne
Jalore FabricM4181-02
Cochin Bourgogne is a structured striped textile with a rich burgundy ground, softened by cream vertical bands and narrow rust-toned accents. The design reads crisp and decorative, with a clear rhythm that feels both classic and lively.

About this fabric
Woven in a 42% Cotton, 40% Linen, 10% Viscose, 8% Polyester composition, this fabric has the dry, natural handle and lightly irregular look you would expect from a linen-led blend. The repeat is approximately V 20cm / H 26cm, creating a stripe that feels measured rather than overstated, with small repeating berry-coloured motifs set between slender cream columns. In this colourway the burgundy appears deep and warm, while the pale ground keeps the pattern bright and easy to read. At approximately 130cm wide, it is a practical decorative fabric with enough presence for furnishing schemes that want pattern without heavy visual weight.
How to use it
Use it where you want a smart striped statement with warmth: upholstered dining chairs, cushions, or tailored curtains. The burgundy and cream palette sits especially well with walnut, aged brass and quiet neutral walls.
A tailored burgundy stripe that feels crisp enough for curtains and structured upholstery alike.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Cochin Bourgogne without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
