Marrakech Chianti
Jalore FabricM4164-04
Marrakech Chianti pairs deep chianti red bands with warm natural stripes for a bold, rhythmic look. The woven surface shows a dry, artisanal texture that keeps the pattern feeling grounded rather than glossy.

About this fabric
This Jalore fabric by Manuel Canovas has a substantial woven handle, with vertical stripes spaced across a 144cm width and a repeat of approximately V 1cm / H 72cm. The colourway combines saturated wine-red panels with pale jute-toned narrow bands, giving the cloth a warm, earthy contrast. Its 40% viscose, 34% jute, 16% linen and 10% polyester composition helps explain the mix of softness, texture and visible slub in the weave. With its smart, decorative stripe and listed care code Q 8 + T 3, it works well where you want pattern and structure to read clearly. The √CM fire code is provided for this exact fabric.
How to use it
Use Marrakech Chianti on a tailored chair, headboard or ottoman to bring a strong red accent into a room. It also suits full-length curtains if you want the vertical stripe to emphasise height and create a warmer, more cocooning scheme.
Use with warm neutrals or walnut to let the red bands and natural slubs stand out.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Marrakech Chianti without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
