Manuel Canovas

Mahina Celadon

Jalore FabricM4178-02

Mahina Celadon presents Jalore’s botanical pattern in a pale, airy celadon palette on a light ground. The drawn leaf forms and trailing stems feel fresh and relaxed, with just enough colour to soften the design.

About this fabric

This Manuel Canovas fabric is composed of 70% Linen, 23% Viscose and 7% Polyester, with an approximate width of 130cm and a repeat of V 78cm / H 65cm approx. In this colourway, the large-scale botanical motifs read in soft celadon, leaf green and gentle yellow-green accents, giving the pattern a cool, springlike freshness rather than a dense tropical feel. The linen base adds a slightly dry, natural texture, while the viscose lends a smoother visual finish that helps the pale colours sit lightly on the cloth. With no performance features noted, it is best considered for decorative use where the emphasis is on pattern and colour. The overall effect is breezy and uplifting, with the motif standing out clearly against the pale background without becoming heavy.

How to use it

Use Mahina Celadon for curtains in a light-filled room, where the pale greens can echo foliage outside and keep the scheme feeling open. It also pairs well with chalky whites, blonde woods and woven natural textures.

Use for breezy curtains or lined blinds to bring a fresh, airy botanical feel.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Mahina Celadon without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
