Jalore Prairie

Jalore FabricM4187-01

Jalore Prairie opens on a soft cream ground scattered with delicate, painterly florals and trailing green stems. The overall effect is fresh and refined, with the pattern sitting lightly on the cloth rather than feeling dense.

About this fabric

Woven in 72% linen, 22% viscose and 6% polyester, Jalore Prairie has the breathable, lightly textured feel of a decorative fabric rather than a heavy upholstery cloth. The swatch shows an off-white cream base with a lively botanical pattern in spring greens, blush pinks, coral accents and tiny touches of red and lilac, giving the design a gentle but colourful presence. The repeat is generous at approximately V 78cm and H 65cm, which supports the open, meandering scale of the vines and larger leaves visible in the image. At 130cm wide, it is well suited to both drapery and upholstery applications where a statement floral with a soft handle is wanted. The Q 8 + T 3 care code and √BM fire code are specified for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use this colourway where you want the floral to feel bright and polished rather than heavy: a bedroom headboard, a small armchair, or curtains in a light-filled sitting room. The cream ground keeps the palette airy, while the green and pink embroidery-like details add warmth against pale paintwork and natural wood.

Pair this airy floral with relaxed linen upholstery or graceful curtains for a fresh, tailored look.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
