About this fabric

This Sanderson velvet has a dense, tactile finish that reads as substantial and reassuring in the hand, with a usable width of 140 cm and a weight of 765 gsm. The surface shows a subtle horizontal striation from the pile, softening the colour into a muted celadon rather than a bright mint. With 48 threads per cm, it has a tight, refined construction that supports upholstery use. The colour sits between green and blue, creating a cool, airy mood that still feels grounded.

How to use it

Use this celadon velvet on an occasional chair, ottoman or banquette where its cool tone can balance warm woods and brass. It also works well with chalky neutrals and deeper forest greens for a layered, contemporary scheme.
