Deauville Celadon

Deauville FabricM4204-04

Deauville Celadon is a cool, quietly fresh striped linen with an easy vertical rhythm. The pale ground lets the celadon bands read crisp and airy rather than bold.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, this fabric has the natural, lightly textured look you expect from a linen cloth, with a clean stripe that feels measured and calm. The repeat is vertical 0cm / horizontal 24cm approx, and the 144cm approx width makes the stripe easy to plan across larger drops or upholstery runs. In this colourway, the green is a soft celadon with a muted, springlike cast, sitting gently against the pale ground. The overall effect is fresh but understated, with enough structure for a smart interior and enough softness for relaxed schemes.

How to use it

Use Deauville Celadon where you want a bright but restrained stripe, such as tailored curtains, a Roman blind, or a pair of neat accent chairs. Its cool celadon tone works especially well with bleached woods, chalky whites, and stone finishes.

A fresh celadon stripe that feels crisp and calm in linen.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Deauville Celadon without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
