About this fabric

This Sanderson velvet has a substantial 765 gsm weight and a usable width of 140 cm, making it well suited to hardworking upholstery. In this colourway, the brown reads as a deep cocoa tone with muted bronzed undertones and a softly worn-looking surface. The dense velvet pile and fine 48 threads per cm give the fabric a rich, close texture that looks plush in the light and almost shadowed in the lows. With no pattern repeat and no performance finish noted, it has a clean, understated character that relies on texture and colour alone.

How to use it

Use this chocolate brown on an armchair, sofa or ottoman where you want a warmer alternative to black. It pairs especially well with oak, aged brass and natural linens for a grounded, layered scheme.
