About this fabric

Cheslyn Raw Chocolate from Sanderson’s Orwell Weaves collection is a substantial woven fabric, with a 414 gsm weight and a usable width of 140 cm. The design shows a tight repeating lattice of small diamonds and zigzags, rendered in soft raw chocolate and biscuit-toned contrast for a dry, understated finish. With an 8.5 cm vertical repeat and 24 cm horizontal repeat, the pattern has enough rhythm to give upholstered pieces definition without overpowering them. The high thread count of 56 threads per cm helps create the crisp, closely worked surface visible in the image.

How to use it

Use this warm chocolate colourway on a pared-back armchair, ottoman or bench where the small geometric repeat can add texture without feeling busy. It sits well with oaks, putty neutrals and aged brass for a tailored, grounded room scheme.
