Burnham Wild Honey

Orwell Weaves FabricSAF0443-02

Burnham Wild Honey shows a fine, regular stripe in a soft honey-gold tone over a pale ground. The effect is crisp but warm, with the narrow vertical lines giving the fabric a tailored, steady rhythm.

About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Orwell Weaves collection has a usable width of 143 cm and a substantial weight of 454 gsm, which gives the weave a grounded, upholstery-friendly feel. The stripe repeat is very small at 0.8 cm horizontally, so the pattern reads as a neat pinstripe rather than a bold statement. Visually, the wild honey colour sits between golden ochre and soft mustard, with enough warmth to feel inviting without looking brash. The tight weave and high thread count of 59 threads per cm add to the clean, compact texture visible in the swatch.

How to use it

Use this warm yellow stripe on an armchair, dining seat, or banquette where you want a little sunlight in the room. It pairs especially well with chalky whites, light oak, and muted greens, keeping the scheme fresh rather than heavy.

A warm honey stripe that brings gentle brightness to casual seating or tailored cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
