Dobby Stripe Dijon

Melford Weaves FabricSAF0160-02

Dobby Stripe Dijon brings a crisp striped rhythm to the Melford Weaves collection, with slim yellow bands running through a light neutral ground. The overall effect is fresh and airy, with the dobby texture keeping the surface quietly tactile rather than flat.

About this fabric

This woven fabric has a substantial handle at 496 gsm, which gives the stripe a firmer, more tailored feel suited to upholstery. The design uses a 137 cm usable width and a 35.2 cm horizontal repeat, with no vertical repeat. In this colourway, the Dijon yellow reads as warm but softened, sitting alongside pale beige, white and muted teal accents for a clean, sunlit palette. The fine striped structure feels orderly and precise, while the woven texture adds just enough depth to stop the light ground from looking stark.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a small accent chair, banquette or headboard where the soft Dijon stripe can brighten a room without overpowering it. It works especially well with natural oak, parchment tones and brushed brass details.

Pair with chalky neutrals and pale timber for a clean, tailored look.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
