Lymington Damask Corn

Lymington Damasks and Stripes FabricSAF0010-21

Lymington Damask Corn is a warm, sunlit damask with a softly layered pattern that sits just above the ground colour. The tonal design reads elegant and bright, with a gentle sheen that catches the light across the motif.

About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric has a usable width of 142 cm and a substantial 340 gsm weight, giving the damask a confident handle that suits structured interiors. The repeat is 42 cm vertically and 36 cm horizontally, so the large-scale motif holds its rhythm across upholstery panels and statement drapes. In this corn colourway, the pattern appears as a slightly deeper golden yellow over a paler butter-yellow ground, creating a warm, uplifting finish rather than a sharp brass tone. The surface has a smooth, closely woven look, with the design visible as a tonal jacquard-style effect rather than a printed contrast.

How to use it

Use this corn yellow on an armchair, banquette or curtain for a bright traditional accent that still feels refined. It pairs well with painted creams, aged wood and quieter neutrals, where the warm yellow can glow without overpowering the room.

A warm corn-yellow damask that brings a sunny, traditional lift to classic schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
