Lymington Damask Raspberry

Lymington Damasks and Stripes FabricSAF0010-06

Lymington Damask Raspberry shows a traditional damask pattern in a saturated raspberry red. The design reads as richly layered, with the motif appearing slightly lighter than the ground so the pattern stays visible without feeling stark.

About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric has a usable width of 142 cm and a substantial 340 gsm weight, giving it a solid, tailored presence. The 42 cm vertical repeat and 36 cm horizontal repeat create a regular damask rhythm across the cloth. In this colourway, the red sits in a deep raspberry register rather than a bright pink, so the surface feels warm, brooding and slightly lustrous. The raised-looking motif and dense 230 threads per cm specification suggest a tightly constructed fabric with enough body for confident interiors.

How to use it

Use this raspberry damask on an upholstered armchair, headboard or dining seat to add depth and formality. It also works well for lined curtains where the saturated red will hold the room’s focus and read especially rich in evening light.

A rich raspberry damask that brings a classic, polished note to upholstered chairs and statement drapes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
