About this fabric

Part of the Dante Velvet collection by Colefax and Fowler, this fabric is a 100% cotton velvet with a width of approximately 140cm and a vertical and horizontal repeat of 0cm approx., making it a true plain. The colourway is a насыщенный-looking ruby red with a strong wine tone, sitting darker and richer than a bright crimson. Its velvet pile catches the light subtly, creating a soft variation across the surface rather than a flat finish. With no performance features noted and a fire code of √CM, it is best considered for elegant decorative upholstery where a deep red, tactile finish is desired.

How to use it

Use this ruby velvet on a buttoned chair, occasional sofa or headboard to bring warmth and formality to a room. It pairs especially well with walnut, brass and cream walls, where the deep red can glow without feeling overpowering.
