About this fabric

This colourway has the plush, light-catching finish expected of a velvet, with the nap giving the surface a subtle tonal movement as it shifts in the light. The shade is a deep sea blue with teal undertones, sitting cooler and more muted than a vivid marine blue. It is supplied as 100% cotton and has a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx, which suits the plain, uninterrupted look shown here. At approx. 140cm wide, it is a practical upholstery velvet for clean-lined seating, cushions and other tailored pieces. The listed care code is Q 8 < T 3 and the fabric carries a √CM fire code.

How to use it

Use this blue-green velvet on a sofa, accent chair or bench to add depth against pale walls, oak finishes or brushed brass. Its cool, sea-like tone also works well with white linen, charcoal and soft grey textiles.

A cool, saturated blue-green velvet that brings depth and polish to tailored pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
