About this fabric

This Colefax and Fowler fabric is woven in 44% viscose, 38% linen and 18% cotton, giving the design a softly lustrous, textile feel rather than a flat printed finish. The repeat is approx. V 11cm / H 18cm, and the 138cm width makes it practical for a range of interior applications. In this colourway, the ground is a gentle creamy neutral while the tiny aqua and gold motifs add a refined, almost scattered-embroidery effect. The overall look is light, restrained and crisp, with just enough warmth in the gold to stop the aqua from feeling cold.

How to use it

Use it on occasional chairs, cushions or elegant full-length curtains where the small repeat can be appreciated without dominating. Its pale aqua and gold palette works especially well with chalky whites, soft oak and brushed brass.
