About this fabric

This Dante Velvet colourway is made from 100% cotton and has no repeat, so the emphasis stays on its plush surface and colour depth rather than pattern. At approximately 140cm wide, it is a practical upholstery cloth for seating, cushions and other covered pieces. The rose pink tone sits between blush and berry, with a softened, slightly velvety warmth that darkens gently in the shaded areas of the pile. Its plain finish and visible nap make it feel classic and refined, while the subtle lustre keeps the colour from looking flat.

How to use it

Use this shade to soften dark timber, brass and painted neutrals, or let it add a richer note to a scheme built around ivory and taupe. It works especially well on compact chairs, stools or cushions where the velvet sheen can catch the light.
